An Open Weekend and celebrity Sculpture

On a whistle stop visit to Sheffield to see family and friends, Grammy award-winning Sheffield born manager Robert Allen took time out to visit to Storrs wood home of Stoneface Creative a place Where Robert says he can feel relaxed and free. Robert has visited Storrs Wood in the past but was so struck by the changes that have been made over the previous years. Andrew Vickers also known as Stoneface says “Robert took many photos and immediately sent them home to his family and friends in Nashville it was great to see just how happy this place made him feel”. When Robert stepped in to the workshop Studio his eyes where met with a horse’s head carved from a broken grindstone. Part of the Stoneface creative work ethic is to recycle and repurpose materials when ever possible so a broken grindstone what was part of Sheffield’s industrial history seemed the perfect material for this horse head sculpture. Robert instantly fell in love with this unique one of a kind piece and purchased later that day. The Sculpture will be staying at Storrs wood for a short time before it leaves for the USA so make sure to see it while you can. Stoneface Creative will be open to the public on the 15th and 16th of July from 11am to 4pm both days so make sure to come and visit this incredible woodland gallery and workshop studio.
