The Reflective Light Sculptures

After all the amazing response we had from our three Reflective Light Sculptures we decided to create this quick blog post to showcase all three at once . All the sculptures have over a 1000 individual pieces with ‘Nelly Through the looking glass’ having the most with over 6000 individual hand cut pieces made for her. Even though the three sculptures are made from the same materials none of them are alike and all three reflect light in totally different ways because of how the are positioned and what reflects on to them, how ever the sculptures are constantly changing colour depending on the weather and what time of day it is . The first reflective Sculpture we created was Nelly who was created for part of the Herd of Sheffield to raise money for the Children’s Hospital. After finishing nelly we moved on to the Star Man and finally the mermaid. After the response from social media we decided to have the sculptures turned into canvases witch are now for sale on our store so make sure to have a look.
