11 Jan Future plans and studio opening days.
Firstly let me start by saying happy New Year and we all hope you had a great Christmas break and are looking forward to the year ahead. We took some huge steps in 2016, we opened our studio and woodland gallery to the public for the very first time as well as hosting our own Christmas event that went really well. Opening to the public was a great experience and a nice chance to meet some great people who where interested in our work and what we do and even though we are currently closed to the public until to do maintenance within the woodland gallery we will be re opening again early spring with event based weekends that we hope you will really enjoy but we will talk about that closer to the time of our re opening.
During the winter while we are closed we will be doing routine maintenance that is in place with our woodland management programme such as creating space to plant new oak saplings as well as maintaining the areas where last years Oak saplings that where grown from acorns then planted to help them continue to grow. This maintenance is important as it goes towards reaching our end goal of restoring this ancient woodland back to its proper deciduous state.
As always thank you for reading and I look forward to sharing more with you in the coming months.
