After the incredible reaction we received from our elephant “nelly through the looking glass” that we created for the herd of Sheffield, we wanted to have a go at creating another artwork using the same materials but this time one that we could keep here in Storrs wood. The Star Man inspired on many levels not least the original. Star man shines beautifully with the natural light it blends in incredibly well with its surroundings reflecting all the colours of the woodland from leaves and grass to tree trunks and stone. The sculpture constantly re inventing itself .The Star man is situated in the heart of the woodland standing overlooking the stone circle. Make sure to come and check this one out in person, as it really does need to be seen.
